Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible (i.e. the 39 canonical books of the Old Testament and the 27 books of the New Testament) to be the only inspired Book and the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe in one God, eternally and equally existent, in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, revealed to us in the Scriptures.
We believe all that the Scriptures teach with regard to the person and work of our Lord, i.e. His deity, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, and His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for the eternal salvation
of every human being.
We believe that the Holy Spirit enables the Christian to live a godly, holy life in this present evil world.
We believe in the resurrection of the dead and life everlasting.
We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in Christ.
In matters non-essential, irrelevant to the above basic faith of the Church, our Church will always take, towards all, an attitude of mutual forbearance and love as becomes Christians.
We believe a Christian without a church home is an orphan, and God’s eternal purpose is to fulfill the Great Commission (Mission and Outreach) through the church. (Ephesians 3:10)
